FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process cartridge that is replaceable in an image forming apparatus and an image forming apparatus including a process cartridge. Disclosed process cartridge comprises: (i) a photosensitive drum, (ii) a rotatable development roller configured to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum, (iii) a rotatable toner supply roller, in contact with said developing roller, wherein said feed roller is configured to supply toner to said developing roller, (iv) a toner chamber configured to receive the toner, (v) developing chamber in which said toner feeding roller is located, (vi) a rotatable feed member provided in the toner chamber and configured to supply toner from the toner chamber to the developing chamber, (vii) a connection member operatively connected to said toner feeding roller and configured to receive a driving force for rotating said toner feeding roller, said developing roller and a supply member, (viii) a first gear wheel operatively coupled to said toner feeding roller and configured to transmit a drive force received by the coupling member to said developing roller and (ix) a second gear wheel operatively coupled to said developing roller and configured to transmit driving force from the first gear wheel to said developing roller, wherein the process cartridge is configured such that when the coupling member receives the drive force and the process cartridge is oriented with the developing roller located above the toner chamber, (i) direction of rotation of said development roller is opposite to rotation direction of said toner feeding roller, (ii) part of surface of said toner feeding roller rotates from first position, in which part of surface of said toner feeding roller contacts with surface of said development roller, into second position, in which part of surface of said toner feeding roller is separated from surface of said development roller, wherein first position is higher than second position, (iii) a supply element supplies toner up from the toner chamber into the developing chamber, and (iv) surface speed of said toner feeding roller is greater than that of said developing roller.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a process cartridge and an imaging device, in which in the structure in which the developer is drawn from the developer accommodating chamber provided below the developing chamber, to the developing chamber above the developer storing chamber providing reducing residual developer thus reducing the number of parts.
