FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical instrument making, is intended for measurement of volume fraction of moisture in gases and can be used in various industries. Photocompensation hygrometer comprises a sensitive element responsive to moisture content change of moist controlled gas, made in form of a plate rigidly attached to magnetoelectric galvanometer tensions, and a measuring circuit from two branches of supply of comparative dried gas, in one of which a proportioned wet gas meter is connected, and a pneumooptical converter in the form of a magnetoelectric galvanometer, comprising a frame with current, placed in the gap of the permanent magnet. Besides, the hygrometer includes an optical part comprising a light source, a condenser, a diaphragm, a mirror, the reflected light beam from which is detected by a double photoresistor connected to a differential equilibrium electric circuit with power supply sources located therein, in feedback of which recording milliammeter is connected to determine controlled parameter.
EFFECT: invention provides automatic operation mode, high sensitivity and operating speed during dynamic processes.
