FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to renewable sources of electric power, which converts mechanical energy of wave waves directly into electric waves. Marine wave power plant comprises magnetohydrodynamic generators 1 with reversible magnetohydrodynamic channels located vertically below the water level. Each of channels consists of two funnels and active part of rectangular cross-section channel. Power plant is equipped with underwater and underground cable lines 6 of direct current to accumulator substation 7 located on shore of converter substation 8, section of electric network 9. Generators 1 are of inductive type fixed to the bottom metal structures, rope dugouts and foundations 4 and include direct current circuits, kingstones and air valves. Channels are interconnected to form ballast cavities.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at expansion of equipment range intended for conversion of sea waves energy into electric energy.
