FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: mortar comprises barrel, breech, bolt with sight and support plate, accumulator battery, in the barrel muzzle along diameter of its pipe pulse solenoid and inverter are rigidly fixed. Method consists in the fact that at passage of head and tail parts of mines of the muzzle section the solenoid start contact is triggered, which additionally accelerates the mine by magnetic field, magnetic field is intensified by switching polarity of the solenoid at the moment of passage of mine middle of its length.
EFFECT: technical result is higher mine speed and longer range of fire.
