SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic circuit breaker (1), comprises at least one first fixed contact pad (18), support assembly (14) provided with at least one second contact platform and rotatable about the main axis between a first position in which the second contact pad is in contact with the first contact pad, and second position, in which second contact platform is separated from first contact platform, and arc-extinguishing chamber comprising stack of plates (24), upper arc-guiding horn, lower arc-guiding horn (28), equipped with at least one bend (44), and a screen made of insulating material surrounding the lower arc-guiding horn, two protrusions (48) made from gas-generating material, are located on the screen between the lower guiding arc and the upper arc guide horn, and facing the bend of the lower arc-guiding guide, the projections have prismatic or pseudo-prismatic shape.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of electric arc centring with its cooling due to gas generation.
