FIELD: radio engineering; radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in ground surveillance radar systems. Technical result is achieved by developing operations of a method of multi-position active-passive radar and outputting mathematical relationships, which enable to determine values of velocity modules of objects, their spatial heading angles and diving angles (pitching), as well as by determining the structure and operating order of the radar station, which realizes the method of surveillance active-passive lateral radar ranging of aerospace objects.
EFFECT: high-accuracy determination of coordinates and trajectories of aerospace objects moving in space in an expanded working area.
