SUBSTANCE: method of power generation from gas with low calorific value includes the following stages: 1. gas with low calorific value is supplied to boiler (1) for combustion, furnace gas formed as a result of combustion is subjected to heat exchange in boiler (1); superheated steam with super-high pressure is generated in superheater (13), superheated steam is supplied to high-pressure cylinder (21) of steam turbine (2) for generation of electric energy; 2. steam from high-pressure cylinder (21) is supplied to heater (14), heated steam is supplied to low-pressure cylinder (22) for electric power generation; 3. steam from low-pressure cylinder (22) after condensation is supplied to economizer (15), water from economiser (15) enters boiler drum (12); 4. boiler water (12) enters water cooled walls (17) of boiler (1) and is heated to state of steam or steam-water mixture, steam or steam-water mixture is returned back into boiler drum (12); saturated steam is supplied to superheater (13).

EFFECT: method and system of electric power generation from gas with low calorific value are proposed.
