FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar systems (RS) with pulse phase-modulated sounding signal used on mobile carriers, mainly on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and intended for detection and tracking by mono-pulse method of signals from objects of destination (targets). In order to achieve the above technical result before the RS is switched on to the active mode with the powerful probing signal and the antenna beam is scanned for the possible positions of the destination objects, it is proposed to perform the this area scanning in passive stealth mode, providing only detection of radio signals by receiving channel in extended frequency range without radiation of own sounding signal, and when selecting an assignment object, not only the power of the reflected echo signal but also the fact of detecting extraneous radio signals from the same direction along the azimuth is taken into account. Essence of the invention is that the monopulse radar system comprises an exciter, a synchroniser, a code generator, an amplitude modulator, a ultrahigh frequency (UHF) transceiver unit, signal processing, capture and tracking unit (SPCT), target object detection and selection unit, prelaunch preparation unit, pre-launch preparation signal sensor, speed sensor, start cancellation indicator, passive radio channel (PRC) signal processing unit, priority correction unit, an antenna scanning control unit, a broadband radio pulse detector, an antenna drive control code switch, a subtractor unit, an AND-OR element and an OR element connected to each other in a certain manner.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of radar systems during installation on UAV.
