FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar tracking systems, namely to detection and tracking of low-flying targets at distant approaches to the antiaircraft-rocket complex standing point. Optoelectronic systems of observation posts have low weight of optics and dimensions, which makes it possible to use them both in far and near target detection zones. Criterion of maximum deviation of trajectory of low-altitude target from section of linear approximation of trajectory is used on interval of time between adjacent measurements of parameters of trajectory of target to account for "wincing" of target: maximum speed V, acceleration a flight and sharpness R of flight path change. Method can be effectively used to combat low-flying combat, drones intended for destruction of antiaircraft-missile systems.
EFFECT: secrecy of operation of radar stations, reducing the number of optoelectronic systems for detecting and tracking a low-altitude target in the far and near zones of air-defense system liability by using mobile aerial surveillance stations with optoelectronic systems which change the altitude of their position with the help of quadcopters.
