CONTINUOUS OPTICAL COMMUNICATION METHOD WITH LOW-ALTITUDE TARGET Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01S13/66

Abstract RU 2715499 C1

FIELD: computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation and computer equipment and can be used in designing systems and complexes of air defense tactical control link, especially for detection and tracking of high-speed, maneuvering, low-flying targets using optical-electronic systems. Method of continuous optical communication of an optoelectronic system with a low-altitude target consists in constant monitoring of the value of the maximum angular velocity of the low-altitude target. If this speed is detected ωcm over angular rotation speed value ωs optoelectronic system sensors (ωcm≥ωs) perform the maneuver by the optoelectronic system in space and increase the distance r between the optoelectronic system and the observed target. Besides, the second mobile post of aerial observation is oriented to the target and the second mobile post of aerial observation is connected to the tracking of the low-altitude target, in the zone of visibility of the optoelectronic system of which there is a point of the first mobile post of aerial observation.

EFFECT: detection and tracking of low-flying target without loss of optical communication due to use of dynamic properties of movable quadcopters or other unmanned aerial vehicles, on which light optical-electronic systems are installed.
