FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of protection against surging centrifugal injectors of gas transfer units. Method is developed for protection of centrifugal charger against surging by bypassing pumped gas through bypass valve from centrifugal blower outlet to its inlet, flow rate through which is calculated mathematically to obtain transmission capacity coefficient of anti-surge valve for gas pressure at anti-surge valve outlet. Further, gas flow through the valve is calculated.
EFFECT: ensuring the necessary throughput capacity of the anti-surge valve for centrifugal blower surging.
