SUBSTANCE: protection method for turbocompressor against stalling involves use of value of calculated parameter for determination of relative distance between operating point and boundary limit of stalling; the above value is invariable to changes in wide ranges of gas dynamic parameters of compressed gas as per suction and delivery conditions for section of polytropic compression of turbocompressor.
EFFECT: invention improves quality of anti-stall protection due to improving the accuracy of determination of relative distance between operating point and boundary limit of stalling, which allows enlarging the range of performance characteristics of turbocompressor without gas bypassing and reducing power consumption for compression.
