FIELD: spacecraft.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design and equipment of small-size satellites intended for creation of antenna systems. Binary spacecraft (BSC) comprises two cubic bodies with swivel telescopic rods accommodating multi-vector matrix rocket engines (MMRE) for deployment of a flexible solar battery integrated with a collinear antenna, data and power buses and a position barcode tape. Tape is connected to control equipment through bar code sensors. For MMRE control by length of dilution and orientation of BSC cases there are four laser range finders and four CCD matrices installed on panels of housings. For connection of BSC to each other in different configurations there are four rotary nanostructured contact pads with controlled adhesion (two – on facets of bodies, free from panels).
EFFECT: enabling MMRE to deploy and roll a solar battery with an antenna and form multi-element antenna systems from several BSCs.
