FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to initiating means, in particular, to non-rusting impact ignition compositions, which due to their properties can be used in impact primers to igniters of small arms and hunting weapons, as well as in military ignition devices. Composition contains potassium dinitrobenzofuroxane, tetrazene, barium nitrate, antimony trisulphide, tetranitrate pentaerythritol and aluminum.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creation of non-rusting impact ignition composition, which does not contain high-toxic compounds of lead and mercury in combustion products, having high combustion temperature, heat release and force, providing reliable ignition of charges of powder of rifle cartridges of caliber of 8_6 mm in temperature range from plus 60 °C to minus 60 °C.
