FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of composite sintered powder materials intended for use in electric transport mainly as contact inserts of municipal electric transport (trolleybuses). Composite sintered powder material based on iron contains copper (10–15 %), lead (8–10 %), natural graphite (3 %), ultradispersed diamond-graphite powder UDP-AG (0.1–0.2 % of total weight of lead), the rest is iron.
EFFECT: invention improves antifriction and operational characteristics.
