FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to plant growing, and can be used in grain-hoed crop rotations with sunflower during spring barley cultivation. Method of spring barley cultivation by direct sowing includes spring barley seeding, which is carried out by seeding machine of direct sowing without preliminary mechanical treatment of soil after sunflower with sowing norm of 3.0–3.5 million pieces/ha at depth of 3–4 cm, across or diagonally inoculation of the preceding culture.
EFFECT: invention promotes reduction of mineralization of soil organic matter and preserves its structure in grain-hoed crop rotations, promotes maximum use of nutrients preserved in soil due to difference in development of root systems of sunflower and spring barley, and improves soil protection against erosion.
