FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water transport and relates to control of mooring ship when mooring vessel performs mooring operation to side of partner ship by transverse displacement of two points from current position of approach trajectory when mooring operation is performed to partner ship. Mooring operation is performed in three stages, at that at each stage its approach trajectory is used. At the first stage of mooring, the mooring ship enters the first conditional point, at the second stage – to the second conditional point, and at the third stage, the mooring ship approaches in parallel to the partner ship at the distance allowing anchoring the mooring ropes. Boat mooring speed regulation during parallel approach of mooring ships at the last mooring stage allows it to be held in preset lengthwise position relative to ship hull partner.
EFFECT: improvement of mooring ship control during mooring operation to partner ship and thus providing mooring operation safety and efficiency.
