SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of putting on or removing article (1) of clothes or closing, putting on, opening or removing a piece of luggage, wherein article (1) of clothing or piece of luggage comprises: rotary fastener (2) for tightening or for loosening of tightening by means of tension element (3), wherein rotary fastener (2) comprises drive tension roller (4); switching element (6) which is connected to control device (7), wherein tightening or loosening of tightening is carried out when user of object (1) of clothing or item of luggage drives switching element (6). In order to enable tightening, in particular, a piece of clothing in a particularly simple and reproducible manner, the invention provides a method involving the following operations: by the user on surface (10) of sensors (9) in the first direction (R1), detecting sensor signal (9) by control device (7) and issuing an indication of putting on garment (1) or closing or putting on the piece of luggage with a first level of force tightening with either first distance, passed by closing tensioning element (3), by means of control device (7) and electric motor (5).
