SUBSTANCE: system for protection of body part of user in case of motion deviating from the norm, such as falling or collision. System includes article of clothing (1), air safety bag, inflatable device (3) and trigger. The above safety bag includes the first part (7) intended to enclose neck and occipital sections of user after inflation and the second part (8) intended to form the hood enclosing the user's skull after its inflation. Prior to inflation the first and the second parts are folded and arranged in the specified article of clothing, which is located around user's neck, for example in the form of collar or scarf. The first part is adapted for inflation prior to inflation of the second part. Also, method for protection of user's head in case of motion deviating from the norm, such as falling or collision, is described.

EFFECT: higher protection level of user at falling, and ease of use.
