FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for fast and reliable connection of high-voltage cable high-voltage lines with electrophysical installations, and more specifically – with electromagnets. In a detachable connector, comprising two parts, in one of which there is a cable, as well as a connecting rod between the conductive elements of two parts, one of the parts is built into the body of the electromagnet, and the second part is detachable, built-in part contains metal bushing with cone and thread on end protruding over body surface of electromagnet, on conical part of bushing cone of central hole is fixed metal plate with two tapered holes on one of its sides, inside the bushing there is an insulator with an axial hole and a flange on the inner end, in the insulator hole there is a metal rod with a cone and thread on the end projecting above the body surface of the electromagnet, detachable part comprises housing from insulating material, which consists of three sections, two of which are parallel, and third at right angle connects them and extends beyond one of them, forming a projection, in all sections there are axial holes, in parallel sections – through, and in transverse, on the side of protrusion, – before connection of holes of parallel sections, in axial hole of transverse section is placed connecting rod, on flat ends of which there are tapered holes, which axes coincide with axes of parallel sections of detachable part housing; cable is arranged in the axial hole of one of the parallel sections on the side of the protrusion and has on the central core a tip with a conical and threaded part on the end, conical part is placed in cone hole of connecting rod, and cable sheath contains ring with two flexible conductors connected to it with L-shaped tips with conical sections, which are fixed in conical holes of plate; second parallel section of detachable part housing is inserted into annular cavity between metal bushing and insulator of built-in part, at that, cone of metal rod is placed in cone hole of connecting rod.
EFFECT: enabling the connector to transmit high currents at dimensions identical with the prototype.
