FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining of metals, in particular, to control of machining process at grinding machines during manufacturing, for example, of bearing rings. In the process of grinding, commands are generated, coming from the active monitoring device, by means of which the value of parameters of the process of grinding the processed article is measured. Simultaneously, in real time, parameters of machined part geometrical image are fixed in time and energy image of grinding spindle of machine tool. Values of process parameters of processed article are compared with reference corresponding parameters and control command is sent to change of grinding process. In order to create a geometrical image of the machined part in time, a diameter dimension is selected, and to create an energy image of the grinding spindle of the machine – value of current consumed by it.
EFFECT: as a result, labor intensity of statistical control of grinding process is reduced and quality of manufactured products is increased.
