FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydropower industry, in particular to a modular wave energy conversion unit. Plant comprises base 1 with posts 2, float on rod connected with shaft 3 of power take-off, on which coupling 8 is installed for connection with electric generator 10. Vibrations of working medium are transmitted to yoke 11, inside of which on shaft 3 with yoke 11 there installed is ratchet drum 15, which contacts teeth with two pawls. One pawl is mounted on yoke 11, and another one is arranged on base 1. Inside ratchet drum 15 spiral spring 17 is installed, the upper end of which is fixed on the housing of ratchet drum 14, the lower end is fixed on shaft 3. Shaft 3 is connected with reduction gear 9. Reduction gear 9 is connected with electric generator 10.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing accumulation of wave kinetic energy with subsequent conversion into electric power.
