SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a film laminate comprising a substrate and a polymer film and suitable for forming a portion of the laminated packaging material. Proposed method comprises moving substrate web to pass through laminating clamp. Method involves casting a polymer film by applying a molten polymer material on a cooling roller with at least partial solidification of the molten polymer material to form a polymer film. Besides, the method involves direct forward movement of the polymer film for passage through the laminating clamp with lamination as a result of the polymer film onto the substrate web.

EFFECT: invention provides an improved method of producing a laminated packaging material with good and reliable adhesion between thin and sensitive layers of the laminated material also at high lamination speeds and moving forward, as well as in difficult areas of the laminated material.
