SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymerised oils and methods for polymerisation of oils and their mixing with asphalt to improve characteristics of natural asphalt and/or road pavements containing produced from recycled material and old bitumen material. Disclosed is polymerised bio-renewable oil obtained from initial oil material, which is vegetable oil, with content of oligomers of 2 wt. % to 80 wt. %, with a polydispersity coefficient in range of 1.30 to 2.20 and sulphur content in range of 0.001 wt. % to 8 wt. %. Invention also discloses modified asphalt, an asphalt renewing agent, a biofuel renewable polymerisation method, as well as methods for introducing a polymerised bio-renewable oil in asphalt coating, roofing materials and materials for application of coatings.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of asphalt characteristics, including expansion of useful temperature interval (UTI) of asphalt, upgrading of old asphalt and improvement of compatibility of elastomer thermoplastic polymers in asphalt.
