SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices for converting illuminated cup holder for beverages in an arm of a motor vehicle into an ashtray. Proposed device comprises plug-in ash cup to be received into the body of abovementioned illuminated cup holder for beverages. Plug-in ash cup includes an illumination ring illuminated by means of a light source in the illuminated cup holder for beverages. Cup holder for beverages converted into a self-ventilating ashtray comprises a cup holder for beverages body and a plug-in ash cup. Method of converting a cup holder for beverages in an arm of a motor vehicle into an ashtray comprises steps of inserting an inserted ashtray into the body of cup holder for beverages. Light source is combined in the cup holder for beverages with an illumination ring supported on the inserted ash cup. Motor vehicle is equipped with a cup holder for beverages.
EFFECT: reduced odors created by cigarettes.
