FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: nipple element has a first threaded structure and a spiral projection of torque transfer arranged in axial direction along the nipple element at a certain distance from the first threaded structure. Locking element has a second threaded structure and a second spiral projection of torque transfer, arranged in axial direction along the lock element at a certain distance from the second threaded structure. Size and location of the first threaded structure and the second threaded structure are selected so that to control the position of the pipe connection, and in the approach position, the first spiral projection of moment transfer does not engage and does not overlap in axial direction with the second spiral projection of moment transfer. Also disclosed is a method of connecting tubular elements using a spiral torque transmission projection.
