FIELD: petroleum engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products of petroleum engineering, namely to threaded locking conical joints of drill pipes. The technical result is an increase in the service life of a threaded conical connection, the possibility of transferring increased torque to drill pipes and the arrangement of the bottom of the drilling tool in deviated wells, an increase in the sealing ability of a threaded connection and an increase in its service life. Threaded tool joint conical connection of drill pipes includes nipple and sleeve parts. The nipple part of the threaded connection has a section with an external conical thread of a triangular profile and a stop end at the base of the larger cone, and the smaller cone of the nipple part is provided with an extension. The coupling part of the pipe has a stop end and is made with a reciprocal internal conical thread and a bore for the extension of the nipple part. In this case, the nipple extension is made with an external taper commensurate with the taper of the thread, and is equipped with a screw thread, and in the coupling part, a reciprocal smooth conical bore coaxial with the thread is provided, congruent with the cone of the nipple extension. The ends of the nipple and box parts of the threaded connection are made with a negative taper. Also, the pitch of the thread, applied to the threaded part of the nipple, in comparison with the pitch of the thread on the sleeve part, is reduced by the value dS, determined by the formula dS = σt * Sm/E, mm; where σt is the yield point of the threaded joint material, kg/cm2; Sm - pitch of the threaded connection on the coupling part, mm; E - Young's modulus of the threaded joint material, kg/cm2.
EFFECT: service life of a threaded conical connection increased.
