Determining the execution of the change in the reporting period, determining the corresponding weight coefficient of the standby unit associated with the three phases of the consensus process in the current period, determining the sum of weight coefficients for the backup node based on the corresponding coefficients, sending the EPOCH_CHANGE message to other network nodes to apply for the new primary node in the new period, receiving NEW_EPOCH messages from other network nodes, exceeding the number of valid NEW_EPOCH messages over the second predetermined threshold value and determining the standby unit as the new primary node in the new period in response to determining the excess of the second predetermined threshold value.
EFFECT: shorter delay time when a new primary node, which is not faulty, is found, thereby improving efficiency of a complete system of chains of units in providing services.
