Method for performing network node of block chain network recovery process includes broadcasting a status request message through a network node to other network nodes in order to restore target transaction of target sequence number, receiving state-response messages which include a sequence number from other network nodes, identifying a target sequence number based on sequence numbers in response messages on a state, sending the request message to other network nodes to request an echo message from each of the other network nodes, determining a range of valid echo messages, which are sent by other network nodes, restoring the target transaction based on a number of valid echo messages and sending the message to other network nodes, indicating that the network node is restored.
