FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates generally to the field of common building structures, which are made mainly of carrying and load-carrying shield-like elements. These sheet building elements are used for internal finishing works, for example for facing walls, ceilings, and/or for making walls from light structures. During installation of such wall building elements, connecting elements are used. Presented building element according to the invention is suitable for interconnection of several such wall building elements, due to which the installation of such wall building elements is simplified, first of all, the treatment with such building elements, and the stability of such wall is increased. For this purpose, the connecting element according to the invention has two U-shaped profiles shifted relative to each other, which can grip at least two wall building elements adjoining each other by a narrow side, mainly gypsum building boards. Embodiments of connecting element are also described.

EFFECT: according to the invention, force closure between the connecting element and the wall construction element is ensured by using blind rivets or known screws for gypsum boards.
