SUBSTANCE: computerized system for determining the layout of aircraft elements. System includes an input module configured to receive first input data indicating a first value of a first parameter, a first attribute database, which includes a plurality of attribute settings, an attribute search module configured to search in the first attribute database and select an attribute setting based on the first value of the first parameter, the central database, which includes a plurality of rules governing the fuselage structural assembly, and an optimization module which communicates with the central database and is configured to form an optimum layout based on the selected attribute setting.
EFFECT: system and methods of design optimizer are proposed.
