FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump engineering and can be used, in particular, in turbo-pump units of liquid-propellant rocket engines. Slit seal-damper for vibration damping of vibration energy of centrifugal pump rotating in non-contact bearings of rotor includes housing with sealing surface, floating ring made of separate sectors (6), sealing ledge (5) of centrifugal pump wheel and elastic damper ring (7). Ring (7) is installed coaxially between sealing surface of housing and outer surface of floating ring.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at exclusion of mechanical contact of pump elements on stator elements of slot seal and providing trouble-free operation at passage of the first critical (resonant) speed of rotor rotation due to damping of centrifugal wheel oscillation energy by elastic damper ring.
