SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to storage device for motor vehicles. Motor vehicle comprises storage system for cargo area of vehicle. Storage system for vehicle cargo area comprises floor storage compartment and interacting unfolding shelf or basket. Floor storage compartment includes inner photoluminescent material, which luminesces in response to light emitted by the overlying light source. Unfolding shelf or basket carries an above-lying light source and can be deployed from the storage compartment. Light source is arranged to emit light above and below the interacting unfolding shelf or basket.
EFFECT: higher quality of vehicle cargo area storage system illumination.
