FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of technical means. For this purpose, method is proposed, in which voltage, amplitude of low-frequency and high-frequency pulsations, voltage level and time parameters of output signals, sequence of output voltage supply are continuously measured for each output voltage of secondary power supply source and their value is compared with corresponding settings. If the values of the controlled parameters go beyond the limits of the allowable value, the user of the technical means is informed about this with sound, light signalling, sending an SMS message, a telephone call, using the Internet. In case of controlled parameters deviation to level dangerous for elements and units of technical means, it is disconnected from secondary power supply source or disconnection of secondary power supply source from supply mains.
EFFECT: technical result is high failure tolerance of technical means, prevention of outages of their elements, preventing loss of information due to failure of secondary power source, reduced downtime.
