FIELD: wind musical instruments.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind musical instruments, mainly, portable automatic ceremonial ones. Musical instrument comprises a housing, a unit of sound tubes, at least one chamber in their base, a source of energy which excites acoustic waves in sound tubes in certain variable sequences and duration of sounds and pauses, a distribution and a program device, and a control system for the latter, and a power supply unit (11).

EFFECT: use of invention makes it possible to create two-functional acoustic instrument – with possibility of combination in space and time of traditional functions of musical instrument (execution or reproduction of certain melody) and imitation of gun (or artillery) salute using firearms with blank ammunition or powder guns.
