FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge for imitation of a false target comprises a coaxial case, a generator of infrared radiation aerosol, a pyrotechnical charge, a sleeve, an electric igniting primer, a combustion chamber, a power block, channel sticks of functional pyrotechnical composition, a propelling powder facility with an igniting charge and a bottom case receiver. The pyrotechnical charge is placed at the bottom of the sleeve, geometrically closed by the coaxial case mouth. The case comprises in the flange a central electric igniting primer, a combustion chamber and a power block. In the output channel of the power block there is an igniting charge of the propelling powder facility. The propelling powder facility communicates with the bottom case receiver. The power block is made in the form of a piston resting against the distributed propelling facility. The axial igniting charge via channel sticks of functional pyrotechnical composition communicates with the end pyrotechnical charge of acoustic action.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of cartridge target action.
