SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to latching element of gasket for heat exchanger consisting of stacked plates. Gasket comprises main section configured to be installed in laying groove formed in heat exchange plate and surrounding heat exchange area, wherein the heat exchange plate further comprises a structure of vertices and recesses located in the outer edge area along the outer periphery of the laying groove, and wherein the spacer comprises a latching element configured to be placed in the recess. Besides, the present invention relates to a method of the gasket attachment.
EFFECT: disclosed is latching element of gasket for heat exchanger.
