Beverage preparation system intended for beverage preparation includes an automatic beverage preparation device (31) and such container and is configured to detachably connect the container to the device so that the handle is located vertically, wherein the channel outlet faces downwards.

EFFECT: method of preparing a beverage using such a beverage preparation system wherein the container is connected to the device such that the handle is arranged vertically, wherein the outlet of the canal is directed downward to dispense the beverage from the beverage base chamber substantially vertically.
