FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of one or more detonators during geophysical investigations to obtain seismic information. Method of operation with an explosive system includes a plurality of boreholes, each containing an explosive, and a plurality of detonators. Each detonator is assigned an identification number and its location is determined. Data is collected in a mobile device with respect to each borehole. Collected data relates to information selected from the following: (1) environmental information, (2) warnings, (3) explosive mass in the borehole, (4) borehole rock lithology, (5) explosive type in borehole, (6) borehole depth, (7) number of detonators in borehole, (8) current leakage during use of the mobile device, (9) time of use and temperature of the mobile device, (10) temperature of the detonator, (11) pressure inside the borehole, exerted by the explosive substance or water on the detonator, (12) the depth of the detonator in the borehole, measured from the surface, (13) gas pockets or other dangers in the ground. Information is stored in the mobile device. Identification number of the detonator and information on the location of the borehole with information extracted from the stored information are compared. Immediately prior to the explosion, the extracted information is provided to a mobile device or component of an explosive system to estimate parameters which could have an effect or affect the explosion process. After detonation of the detonator, seismic information generated by the explosion is compared with said extracted information for the process of evaluating factors which could affect the explosion process.

EFFECT: invention improves safety of operations, increases reliability and accuracy of obtained seismic information.
