FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: locking assembly includes bolt lugs on the rotary bolt and mating projections on the barrel. Contact surfaces of the gate and the barrel are inclined relative to the rotation circle of the bolt lugs to provide, when turning the bolt, its forward movement until breechface stop to the bottom surface of cartridge case in cartridge chamber.
EFFECT: tight attachment of the breechface to the bottom surface of cartridge case, prevention of powder gases penetration into the cartridge chamber and the receiver.
