FIELD: cabling.
SUBSTANCE: proposed technical solution relates to cable passage and can be used to provide passive fire protection of cable facilities and other building structures at nuclear and thermal power plants. Provided is cable passage, which is a mineral wool filler, which at least partially filled with hole with depth of 150 to 250 mm in building structure, wherein filler has density of not less than 35 kg/m3 and is coated from the outside with fire-proof coating, also applied on at least one cable on each side outside the hole, wherein filler in places of cable attachment inside hole is coated with fire-resistant sealant, and fire-resistance of coating depending on depth of hole, thickness of coating, and length of coating on cable corresponds to parameters specified in table:

EFFECT: eliminating shortcomings of the closest analogue and thus providing the required fire resistance limits, simplifying the design and mounting; expansion of equipment range – cable penetrations.
