CANAL PISCICULTURAL POOL WITH DISTRIBUTED WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC E02B8/08

Abstract RU 2719787 C1

FIELD: hydraulic engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used for water supply to piscicultural pools and complexes of irrigation (irrigation-watering) channels of irrigation and reclamation systems for fish farming and aquaculture production. Canal piscicultural pool with distributed water supply system includes: water intake unit in the form of filtering wall 5 installed in canal dam on concrete base 4 along whole width of piscicultural pool 2, anti-filtration curtain 7, filtering wall 5, drainage-filtering element made in the form of mattress-gabion mattress filled with sand-gravel material. At the same time curtain screen 7 is made of polymer roll material – geomembrane, and the bottom and slopes of piscicultural pool 2 are made with a concrete coating.

EFFECT: use of a canal piscicultural pool with a distributed water supply system will make it possible to partially use the water-resource potential of the irrigation channel for the needs of fish farming without its stop and to create a water intake unit of complex structure and a complex of additional water-supplying structures and devices; furthermore, water supplied from the canal into the fish-breeding pool will be cleaned from floating inclusions through the filtering-draining element and additionally aerated due to the level difference and fed uniformly along the whole width of the fish-breeding pool.
