FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to pumping (extraction) of high-viscosity liquids having property of dependence of effective viscosity on rate of pumping. Proposed method consists in control over flow conditions of non-Newtonian liquids - pseudoplastics, oil through pipes - tubing string, cylinder of long-stroke plunger pump. In this case the shear rate must be greater than a limiting value - (dV/dz)k, determined in the laboratory and characterizes the transition from the flow of non-Newtonian fluid to Newtonian dV/dz~Q/R3>(dV/dz)k, where Q - flow rate of liquid through cross section of pipe of radius R - in case of round cross-section.
EFFECT: technical result is higher productivity (efficiency) of pump unit operation in pump-pipeline system.
