FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: method involves high-viscosity oil from a tank for receiving oil from external pipelines by means of a pump through a flow meter into a heat exchange apparatus. Further, oil is supplied to the first soothing chamber, passes through the soothing zone to obtain uniform velocity profiles. Further, it enters the pipeline zone where the initial temperature and initial pressure sensors are located, and then enters the pipe with the three-thread screw insert. Pipe surface is heated by electric current passing through nickel-chromium wire. Pipe wall temperature is measured by chromel-copel thermocouples. Current power is determined using an adjustable laboratory autotransformer. Then oil arrives into pipeline zone with sensors of final temperature and final pressure, then it enters the second stalling chamber and then flows back into reservoir for oil intake from external pipelines. Device for the method implementation is additionally produced.

EFFECT: group of inventions relates to methods of intensifying convective heat exchange and devices for transfer of high-viscosity oils.
