FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of natural stone, namely to methods of making vases from one billet of natural stone, in particular from jasper or other natural stones. Method of making vases from one billet of natural stone includes cutting a billet from natural stone in form of a parallelepiped, wherein parallelepiped is cut from an elongated side on plates from 3 to 100 pieces depending on the size and configuration of the vases, then obtained plates are stacked in the order they were before sawing, numbered and marked on each plate top and bottom, find center and apply the same marking for cutting cone-shaped rings, wherein the marking is applied on the upper or lower side of the plates depending on the vertical inclination angle of the vase, the number of the produced vases from one workpiece corresponds to the number of rings in the first plate, in the center of the plates, except for plates, which are intended for bottom of vases, hole is made for mounting on shaft of angular rotary device (ARD), and to plates for bottom of vase on side, where there is no marking, glued in center bolt for 90 degrees, for landing plates on ARD shaft, step by step each plate is put on ARD shaft, setting corresponding to the marking the angle of inclination, supplying the hydraulic cutter nozzle to the marking with the largest diameter and alternatively performing the cutting along the marking with the largest diameter to the marking with the smallest diameter, each cut ring is numbered, the top and bottom are marked and placed into piles, which number corresponds to the number of vases, the obtained rings are step-by-step ground on the faceplate, selected according to the natural stone pattern, by means of the clamp, several rings are staged in stages so that they do not move relative to each other, thereafter, the bottoms are glued from the plates remaining after the sawing of the rings and bolting, then the obtained vases are ground and polished.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the method of making vases from maximum to minimum sizes from one billet of natural stone, due to rational use of natural stone by making several vases of different size from one piece of billet with preservation of natural pattern on finished articles.
