MEASURING ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF SKIN Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/53

Abstract RU 2720293 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to sensors, methods and systems for measuring skin conductance. Skin conductivity signal is converted into an analogue output voltage. Analog output voltage is converted by analogue-to-digital converter into digital output signal. Phasic skin reaction is separated from the digital output signal and increases the tonic skin reaction with the help of a digital processor. Amplification takes place using an amplifier which has a logarithmic amplification factor for generating an output signal which is equal to the logarithm of skin conductivity, with a decreasing gain for increasing values of skin conductivity. Sensor comprises an amplifier, an analogue-to-digital converter and a digital processor. Digital processor of sensor is made with possibility of detection of phasic reaction in form of period of monotonic increase of skin conductivity, with time of increase between minimum and maximum values, and the ability to identify an increase in the tonic skin reaction in the form of increasing skin conductivity, with a rise time longer than the maximum value, and when no phasic response was detected. Skin conductivity control system comprises a bracelet and a skin conductivity measurement sensor.

EFFECT: provides for measurement and treatment of skin conductance values in such a way, which makes it possible to select phasic component and which can be implemented with low costs and simple processing of signals.
