FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: self-loading pistol with a free gate includes a housing, a gate, a magazine, a return spring, a guide rod, a trigger, a disconnector, a disconnector spring, a sear, a sear spring, a cartridge feeder, a firing spring, a hammer, a hammer strut, a striker, a hook for removal of sleeves, a safety lock. Barrel is made together with the piston, in the barrel wall there is a gas outlet hole; the barrel is placed in the cylinder combined with the cartridge supply tray and installed in the body by means of stops and retainer. Barrel is engaged with bolt by means of rotary holder, gate is connected with cartridge feeder from magazine. During firing the barrel under action of powder gases leaving the gas outlet hole in the barrel wall moves in the cylinder and moves the bolt engaged with the barrel forward. Bullet moves in the barrel together with the barrel forward to the length of the recharging stroke, at the same time the shot power, firing distance, bullet flight extent are increased. After the bolt is returned under the action of the return spring and releasing force from the trigger, the gun is ready for the next shot.

EFFECT: increased power, range and accuracy of shot, reduced recoil.
