FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a loading machine and a method of operation thereof. Machine comprises double-sided electric bus, power supply source, motor, kinetic energy accumulation system and controller. Power supply source is connected to the double-sided electric bus through the first power converter. Electric motor is connected to double-sided electric bus through the second power converter, besides, electric motor is supplied with energy, available on double-sided electric bus and actuating drive mechanism included in loading machine. System for accumulation of kinetic energy includes flywheel and switched reactive electric motor, wherein the kinetic energy accumulation system is connected to the double-sided electric bus through the third power converter. Controller is configured to maintain communication with kinetic energy accumulation system and power supply, as well as for the kinetic energy accumulation system control as the primary electric power source for the double-sided electric bus and for the power source control as the secondary electric power source for the double-sided electric bus, when kinetic energy accumulation system can not satisfy power consumption on double-sided electric bus.
EFFECT: creation of a system allowing to increase efficiency of cyclic operating mode of mining equipment by using energy accumulation.
