SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for fixing a handle to a kitchen container, comprising a plate fastener, intended for permanent attachment both to the wall of the kitchen container, and to the handle. Plate fastening element can be arranged and retained in the corresponding blind hole formed on the handle end. Plate fastening element has at least one inclined hook flange made integral with the plate and protruding below one of the plate surfaces. Each inclined engaging flange is made with possibility of its introduction, as a result of elastic deformation occurring at transition of the fastening device from the disassembled configuration to the assembled configuration, into at least one corresponding concave part made on the inner surface of the blind hole, in the direction of which each inclined hook flange protrudes in the assembled configuration of the fastening device.

EFFECT: handle for kitchen container and corresponding device for attachment to such container are proposed.
