SUBSTANCE: invention provides a handle (10) for kitchen utensils, which can be used in particular, but not exclusively, as a handle of the cover (12). The handle (10) comprises a base element (14) made with the ability to be attached to the cover (12) or to the wall of the kitchen utensils, and the gripping element or handle (16) connected by snapping to the said base element (14). The gripping element or handle (16) is pivotally connected relative to the base element (14) and is made with the ability of rotation from a closed or folded configuration, in which the gripping element or handle (16) is supported on the base element (14) providing the handle (10) size reduction in height, to the an open configuration, in which the gripping element or handle (16) is raised at a right angle relative to the base element (14) and can be gripped for raising the cover (12) or the kitchen utensils to which the handle (10) is attached.
